Marketing Materials for your Campaign

Major Gift campaigns typically require an external marketing Case too. This typically takes the form of an exciting brochure that sells your Case for Support and your campaign. This is the public-facing piece that you and your volunteers will use when visiting most prospects. Key to the cultivation process leading up to every major gift ask, the Case brochure combines dynamic photography, graphics and copywriting to present your campaign and all the top messages from the Main Case.

The External Case is usually part of an overall package of campaign marketing materials and other communications vehicles, including campaign office stationery. Everything is typically branded with the same campaign name, logo, graphics, etc. to create an appealing, consistent and professional look for the campaign.

At ImageScript, we can help you with all the steps involved in creating your full campaign branding and marketing collateral. How to determine what type of package and budget is required? It all depends on the size of your organization, your goal, your Needs, and your campaign plan:

Small to Medium Fundraising Campaigns: A campaign for a small to medium sized organization, where the Case involves just a few Need items and a modest financial goal, can be well served by a relatively simple Case. Research and interviews are limited to a handful of leadership. Graphics and brochures can be equally modest, and a small to medium production budget is typically sufficient. These types of Cases and marketing collateral can usually be done on a short to medium term timeline.

Large, Complex Fundraising Campaign: Large, complex institutions and organizations typically launch major fundraising campaigns, where the Case involves multiple Need items and a large financial goal. This demands a more complex Case and Case building process. The leadership for such campaigns typically involves more individuals who must be consulted and/or interviewed. Similarly, the graphics and marketing materials tend to be larger scale as well, requiring a proportionately higher production budget and somewhat longer timeline.
